Commencement of Operations of a Solar Power Plant in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture – Commencement of the Management of the “Solar Power Plant Fund” –

The Company today announced that the construction of the solar power plant (hereinafter referred to as the “Plant,”), which the Company had been developing in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, was completed on March 29, 2017 and the Facilities commenced operations on March 30, 2017.

 
The Plant, with a power generation capacity of approximately 2.5 megawatts, was constructed by OMRON FIELD ENGINEERING KYUSHU Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 1-2-12 Higashihie, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City; President and CEO: Katsuhiro Shikata). Moreover, the Plant has raised funds through non-recourse loans from financial institutions and it has also formed a fund as the “Solar Power Plant Fund. 
” With cooperation of OMRON FIELD ENGINEERING Co., Ltd., (Head Office: 1-6-21 Mita, Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhiro Shikata), an operation and maintenance (O&M) manager, the Company will manage the Plant as the asset manager, aiming to achieve steady operations. Going forward, the Company will continue actively expanding its asset management business related to the development of and investment in solar power generation plants.
