Asset Management Contract Related to Investment in Solar Power Generation Facilities on Roofs of Japan’s Largest-Scale Distribution Centers in Japan (Nankonaka, Suminoe Ward, Osaka City)

The Company has entered into a contract to perform asset management for solar power generation facilities to be installed on the roofs of the distribution centers that the ESR Group is constructing in Nankonaka, Suminoe Ward, Osaka City (hereinafter referred to as “the Facilities”).
The ESR Group, which is engaged in operating logistics facilities, is one of Asia’s largest real estate company groups, developing, owning and operating distributions facilities of over 6 million square meters in Japan and China, as well as in South Korea. Redwood Nanko Distribution Centers 1 and 2, under construction in Nankonaka, in Osaka City’s Suminoe Ward, are among the biggest logistics facilities in Japan with a total floor space of about 286,000 square meters. The solar power generation facilities that will be installed on the centers’ rooftops have a generation capacity of about 7.4 megawatts and will also join the ranks of Japan’s largest rooftop solar power generation facilities.
The Facilities are scheduled to come into operation in March 2018. As asset manager, the Company will manage the Facilities with the investors and related financial institutions with a view to their startup and operational stability in cooperation with the ESR Group.
Going forward, the Company will continue actively expanding its asset management business related to the development of and investment in solar power generation plants.
